Configure Advanced Options

The Advanced Options tab of the Punch Card Details screen contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections, described below in more detail.

To edit the options within a specific section:

  1. Select Campaigns from the top navigation bar, then select Punch Cards > Punch Cards from the side navigation menu. The Punch Cards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Punch Card (see Search for a Punch Card for more information on the available search options). The Punch Card Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Select the Advanced Options tab.

  4. Click Edit (being sure to click the Edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The Edit Punch Card Type pop-up window is displayed.

  5. Enter the desired configuration options.

  6. Click Save.

Limits Section

This section is used to define various limitations or restrictions on this Punch Card.

  • Allow API Responses: If enabled, allows the platform to reference this Punch Card in API responses. Typically, this feature should be enabled.

  • Overall Maximum Punch Cards: Define a maximum limit (across all Members) that this Punch Card can be used within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Maximum Responses per Person: Define a maximum limit that this Punch Card can be redeemed by each Member within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Response Interval: Define a period of time that must elapse after a Member completes a punch on this Punch Card, before they can complete another punch. Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter an interval and a period of time (such as “2 days” for example).

  • Minimum Required Metric: Restrict who can start this Punch Card by setting a minimum threshold for a Metric. For example, only Members that have earned 1000 points are eligible to start this Punch Card. Enter the number and select a Metric.

  • Minimum Required Tier: Restrict who can start this Punch Card by setting a minimum Tier that the Member must achieve. For example, only Silver Tier Members or higher are eligible to start this Punch Card. From the drop-down menu, select the desired Tier.

Message Section

This section allows you to assign a Message to this Punch Card.
